Your bestie’s baby shower deserves a unique and personal touch. Join us in a two-hour workshop where we’ll get our hands dirty with clay to craft beautiful, one-of-a-kind mugs. It’s a hands-on experience that allows all the baby shower guests, including the mom-to-be, to create their personalized mugs, making it a heartfelt and lasting reminder of this special day.

The event will start with a demonstration of the handbuilding coil building technique to build a mug. The shape and size of the mug can be choosen. After the demonstration, we will guide you step by step through the realization of your favorite mug giving you advice and feedback where needed.
After the event, all the partecipant will have gained new skills in the coil building technique. For those who develop a passion for pottery and wish to continue their journey, we offer workspace hours where they can work independently to further hone their skills. More info here.
We kindly request that participants begin cleaning up their workstations 20 minutes before the session’s end.
The cost of the event covers all the necessary materials, firing costs, and professional finishing for one mug per person.
Extra pieces
If the partecipants wants to create extra pieces beyond the included one an additional cost of 20 CHF per extra item will be applied.
After the event we’ll glaze and fire your creations, making them ready for pick-up at the studio within 4 weeks after the event. The person who made the reservation will receive an email when they’re ready for collection.
No specific clothing needed. We’ll make sure you’re covered by providing clean aprons to protect your clothes during the workshop.
If you would like to include a delicious aperitif in your event, please send an email to events@lokistudio.ch, and we will provide you with all the necessary information. Please note that the aperitif request must be submitted at least 5 days prior to the event.
Coffee & tea are included in the price and available during the entire length of your event.
