Join us in this workshop as we guide you in creating your favorite pieces on the pottery wheel! You’ll have the chance to craft a set of two items, choosing from a mug, plate, bowl, or vase. We’ll be using speckled clay, which creates a stunning pattern when fired, giving your creations a natural touch.

During this workshop, you will learn the fundamental techniques of pottery throwing on the wheel to create a beautiful set. You’ll have the opportunity to craft a set of two items, whether you choose a mug, a plate, a bowl, or a vase. We’ll use speckled clay that, when fired, creates a beautiful pattern on your piece, making it look amazing. After the workshop, our staff will trim, fire your creations twice and glaze them with clear glaze to make them food and dishwasher safe.
This workshop is suitable for both beginners and for those who already have experience in working with ceramics.
The course price includes all the materials and firing costs up to two pieces.
If the participant wants to keep more than two pieces, an additional cost per extra piece of 20 CHF will be applied.
The class will be held in English.
One apron will be provided by the studio. In any case, it is recommended to dress comfortably as it will get dirty! It is highly recommended not to have long nails.
After the workshop, our staff will fire your creations twice and glaze them. They will be ready within four weeks after the workshop date. The staff will send an email to the person who made the reservation when the creations are ready for pickup, and they can be collected during opening hours.
Children above 5 years of age are welcome to join this workshop. Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult who is also taking the class.
- No refunds will be provided for cancellations of the booking.
- It is only possible to change the date of the booking. In case of modification of the date of the booking, the following terms apply:
- Up to 5 days before the class: the change of the date is free of charge.
- From 5 days to 2 hours before the booking: 50% of the total price will be extra charged.
- In the case of a no-show without notification, it is not possible to reschedule the booking to another date or receive a refund. No exceptions are made: in case of illness or personal matters, the terms and conditions mentioned above apply. Further terms & condition can be found here.
Complimentary coffee, tea, and water are free of charge and available at the studio.
